Job Title: Human Resource Manager

Job Overview

The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of human resource functions—recruitment, employee relations, training and development, performance management, compensation, and compliance—as well as office administration, facilities management, and general corporate services. This role requires a leader who can build strong systems, drive employee engagement, and support the strategic direction of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Lead talent acquisition processes, including job postings, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation.
  • Design and implement performance management systems and employee appraisal processes.
  • Coordinate training needs assessments and staff development initiatives.
  • Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes fairly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, payroll data, leave schedules, and staff benefits administration.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, pensions, tax laws, and HR best practices.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related discipline.
  • A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in HR and corporate services, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, employee engagement practices, and HR systems.
  • Proven leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, make data-driven decisions, and foster a productive work culture.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and relevant administrative tools.
