Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Job Overview

The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and optimize the entire supply chain and logistics process
for the water factory. This includes procurement of raw materials (e.g., preforms, labels, caps,
packaging), inventory control, warehousing, fleet management, and  distribution to customers.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in manufacturing supply chain operations,
especially in the FMCG or bottled water/beverages sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that ensure timely procurement, optimal
    stock levels, and smooth product distribution.
  • Oversee procurement of production materials, consumables, spare parts, and equipment.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
  • Supervise logistics and transportation processes to ensure prompt delivery of finished
    goods.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and evaluate supplier
    performance.
  • Monitor production consumption trends and coordinate with the production and sales
    team for demand forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards related to warehousing
    and transportation.
  • Optimize warehouse space and ensure proper handling, storage, and dispatching of
    materials.
  • Track supply chain KPIs, generate reports, and recommend improvements for efficiency
    and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business
    Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a water/beverage factory or FMCG supply
    chain role.
  • Proven experience managing procurement, inventory, and distribution in a production
    environment.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing, fleet logistics, and vendor management.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
  • Professional certification in supply chain or logistics (e.g., CIPS, CIPSMN) is an added
    advantage.
